Something new is about to hit Harrogate’s seemingly ever-expanding food and drink scene this weekend.

The Foundry Project, one of only two in the whole country, is launching its Bottomless Brunch series which is set to run every weekend.

As the name suggests, there will be delicious brunch options combined with bottomless lashings of Prosecco, Mimosas and Bellinis.

The idea appears to be a grand new variety of the long-established tradition of the ‘happy hour’ - except this one takes place on Saturdays from 11am-3pm and Sunday from 11am-5pm.

There will also be a Bloody Mary station and a live soul, funk and disco DJ providing a musical background.

The Foundry Project, which is located on The Ginnel off Parliament Street near Major Tom’s Social, Monteys Rock Cafe and The Pit, was launched in April boasting cool interiors based industrial design.

Inspired by London’s bustling independent cocktail and coffee shop culture, the bar also focuses on coffee lovers with a large ambient seating area.

Foundry Project general manager, David Reeves said: “Harrogate has a lively town centre but a lot of the bars are part of big chains and as such are a little samey.

“We want to offer something completely different, with a relaxed atmosphere for everyone from solo laptop workers to big groups on special occasions.”
