Gareth Southgate has put his Harrogate home on the market - for £3.75m.
Swinsty House, overlooking the reservoir at Fewston, is one of only a handful of Grade 1 listed buildings that remains a private residence.
Measuring 9,000 sq ft and set over four floors, the luxurious mansion has six bedrooms, four bathrooms, and six reception rooms.
It features a wine cellar, cinema room, and impressive grand hall, as well as a drawing room and breakfast terrace.
“Swinsty Hall is a wonderful English country house that is presented in excellent order with lovely interiors that have an impressive contemporary twist,” said Tim Waring, of Knight Frank, which is managing the sale.
“It’s a fantastic house.”
Gareth Southgate, a former Middlesborough and England manager who played for the national team 57 times, now works as a pundit for ITV Sport. He has been linked this week to the England Under 21 team. With his wife Alison, he has lived in the Fewston house for some years.
“It’s Gareth’s intention to remain in the area, but they are looking to move closer to the children’s school,” said Mr Waring.
