The Church of St Joseph and St James: there will be no service on Sunday, October 27.

Household waste: collection at Follifoot will be on Wednesday, October 30.

The FOFWRAP group: has been set up to look at the possibility of setting up a children’s recreational area in Follifoot. They are continuing to look at various ways recreational areas are built from ground works to the equipment. They are looking forward to consultations with the local children to see what ideas they have and what they would like in the area. A pre-planning enquiry has been submitted and they are waiting to hear back from Harrogate Borough Council.

Follifoot school: welcome new starters including additions to the teaching staff: Miss Foy, Mrs Keightley and Mrs Hayhurst. The new school council has been elected with Harry Nash in the chair and Josh Johnson as vice chairman. Other members are: Lewis Walker; Charlotte Richardson; Grace Duncombe; Cassi Stewart;Ted Cooksey; Victoria Alvarez; James Gill and Ava Ashley. Everyone looks forward to the job that they will do in helping to develop and improve the school.
