Photography Competition: having done an excellent job of refurbishing the telephone box on Main Street, the parish council have considered many suggestions for its future use and have decided to make it into the village information centre. Nigel Macdermid is arranging for a selection of leaflets and postcards to be available. As there are no existing postcards it has been decided to hold a photography competition and use the winners as postcards. If you want to submit photographs of scenes in Follifoot and Plompton , please email them to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Follifoot School: thanks everyone who attended the MacMillan coffee morning. The children really enjoyed eating cakes and buns and chatting to members of the local community. Special thanks to Stef Hinchcliffe who organised everything. Little Owls enjoyed interviewing the drain contractor who came to the school. They found out about his favourite building, what he likes to build and how strong he was. Lincoln Whyte liked looking at pictures of the diggers and Dylan Wintersgil said that they asked the contractor some clever questions.
