Falklands medal stolen in burglary

Police are appealing for information to track down a Falklands War medal stolen in a burglary in Darley.

The medal was stolen along with electrical items, jewellery and medication in the raid on the property om Valley Road in the village on April 11.

The Falklands War medal is engraved with the name Alan Mould and has a blue and green ribbon.

It has a silver crown with the Queen's head on the front and a Falklands crest on the back.

Anyone with information about the robbery, which happened between 1pm and 10pm, should call North Yorkshire Police on 101 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
