An elderly man was given first aid by paramedics after crashing into a bollard at a petrol station in Harrogate.

Firefighters from Harrogate were called out to help at the crash, shortly before 11.30am last Friday, November 7.

A spokesman said the driver, an elderly man, had crashed his Honda Jazz into a concrete bollard on a petrol forecourt on Ripon Road.

He suffered a minor hand injury and was treated at the scene, a spokesman said.
