Students at King James’s presented their own Knaresborough illuminations at their annual design and technology exhibition.
A dazzling display of lighting projects was the centrepiece of this year’s show.
The school’s Chaloner Hall was alive with creative buzz as the students showed off their work. As well as lights there were dramatic water features, clocks and jewellery and edible delights.
The evening ended in a riot of colour and style with a stunning catwalk show of designs created and modelled by students.
Technology department head Rachel Sellers said: “It is with an enormous amount of pride that our Technology Department can reflect on another truly spectacular exhibition. Students and teachers were touched by the overwhelming support of so many enthusiastic parents.
“The projects were of the highest standard and it was a pleasure to share them with the community, and, together with the supportive atmosphere, will be hard to beat next year!”
