Knaresborough young musicians to be celebrated

Knaresborough Rotary Club will hold it’s 10th annual Young Musicians competition at King James’s School on March 1.

The event is intended to encourage the musical skills and talents of young people up to the age of 18 who reside or attend school or regular music tuition in Knaresborough, Boroughbridge, Pateley bridge, Nidderdale and surrounding villages.

There are four separate age groups (up to Year 6, Years 10 and 11 and Year 12 and 13, who perform in thhe following categories: brass, keyboard, percussion, strings, voice or woodwind.
