A Harrogate school celebrating its 40th anniversary this year is urging its ‘class of 1973’ to get in touch.

Rossett School will celebrate at the end of term, and former pupils and staff, including those who were students when the school first opened its doors, are invited to join the party.

The school hopes to collect memorabilia from across the years as it reflects on the changes it has witnessed in the past four decades.

Headteacher Pat Hunter said: “It would be lovely to hear from as many past pupils as possible about their memories of their time at Rossett.

“It’s a very exciting time for us as a school. As well as looking back over the four decades since the school opened, we’ll be focusing on our future and how we plan to grow and develop in the coming months and years.”

Mrs Hunter asked anyone with friends or family members who had attended Rossett School at any time over the past 40 years to let them know about the anniversary celebrations.

Anyone with stories or memorabilia to share is asked to contact Malcolm Howe at Rossett School by calling 01423 563768 or by email mhowe@rossettschool.co.uk
