Ashville College students received their GCSE results today, with many enjoying a raft of top grades.
25 per cent of all results across the board werethe highest A* mark, including three pupils who each got a clean sweep of A*s, between them gaining 31 A*s.
Alice Butcher gained 11 A*s and Tara Hill and Joe Pieri each gained 10 A*s.
Ashville College Headmaster Mark Lauder said: “We are very pleased with this year’s GCSE results, in particular, I am delighted by our high achievers who have excelled themselves and we congratulate the students on their tremendous success. I am also pleased to report that once again we have achieved a positive value added score for both boys and girls across the whole cohort.
“These results, coupled with our record-breaking A-Level results last week, confirm Ashville College’s growing academic pedigree.”
