Harrogate’s Ashville College has opened the doors to a brand new pre-school.
Acorns is in its own purpose-built classroom within the Pre-Prep grounds and it will take children aged from three, for morning and afternoon sessions, and whole days.
Lady Emma Ingilby was invited to officially open the new facility, which already has 15 children enrolled.
Also parents, governors and Upper Sixth Form pupils who began their education in Ashville Pre-Prep School 14 years ago, were invited to attend a special assembly to mark the opening of the Pre-School.
Carol Berrie, Head of Ashville Pre-Prep School, said: “We are incredibly excited to have extended our Early Years provision by opening our own Pre-School, Acorns at Ashville
“For the last few years we have tested the water by hosting a series of taster days for children, which proved to be very popular indeed.
“The response from parents showed that there was a real demand for us to open our own pre-school.”
