Staff and students celebrated as A level results were revealed at Ashville College.
The Harrogate school was able to celebrate a record breaking year of results.
A total of 36 per cent of results were A* or As.
A school statement read: “Whilst 63 per cent of all exam results were graded A*-B, the overall pass rate - which saw ten pupils achieve a clean sweep of A*s and As–was 98 per cent, the best A-Level results the school has ever achieved and an improvement for the fourth year running.”
Ashville College Headmaster Mark Lauder, said: “We’re delighted that Ashville College has achieved our best ever A-Level results. These results reinforce our position as a school committed to excellence in academic performance.
“For the fourth year running there has been an improvement in the A-Level results, this is a testament to the hard work and dedication of not only the students, but to the college teaching staff who have helped – and in many cases inspired –them to attain these superb results.”
