Clinicians and employees from private Harrogate dental practice The Raglan Suite will replace their Crocs for running shoes on July 5 as they take on the Harrogate 10K to raise funds for a local charity.

The team are running the Harrogate Town Centre 10K to raise £500 for Saint Michael’s Hospice which helps people with terminal illnesses.

Claire Shields, the Practice Manager said: “Having recently taken over the role of Practice Manager at The Raglan Suite, I felt it would be special if we could come together to raise money for a local charity.

“After hearing about the amazing work Saint Michael’s Hospice does for those who are in their final stages of life, it was our obvious choice.”

One of our participating clinicians, Dr Geoff Baggaley, has run several marathons over the years.

These range from the London Marathon to the Boston Marathon, which he completed for a second time in April.

Anyone who would like to donate to the appeal can visit the practice’s Just Giving page www.justgiving.com/theraglansuite
