Crowds of cycling enthusiasts turned out to Woodfield Play Park on Sunday to take part in a bike marking event.

Organised by Bilton and Woodfield’s Police Community Support Officer (PCSO) James Skaith, and with support from cycling groups, the council and enthusiasts, hundreds of people attended and more than 100 bikes were marked. “It was great to see so many people there and bringing bikes from all over Harrogate,” said PCSO Skaith. “Thank you to everyone who made it the success it was, we are hoping to make it a regular event and add to it.” Pictured is nine-year-old Rhea Gregory getting her bike marked by PCSO Skaith while more bike owners wait their turn.
