Police are appealing for witnesses following a crash that left a motorcyclist in a serious condition at Leeds General Infirmary yesterday afternoon (March 31).
The 28-year-old male motorcyclist, riding a silver 500cc Kawasaki, crashed into a grey Volvo XC90 on Skipton Road at the junction of Coppice Way at 5.40pm.
The motorcyclist was travelling from the direction of the New Park roundabout when he crashed into the Volvo, leaving the road and colliding with a parked Citroen Berlingo van.
The 28-year-old suffered serious injuries and was taken by Yorkshire Air Ambulance to the Leeds General Infirmary. His injuries are not believed to be life threatening.
The 44-year-old female driver of the Volvo was shaken but otherwise uninjured.
Anyone who witnessed the collision, or who saw the Volvo or Kawasaki Motorcycle prior to the collision, is asked to contact police.
