UPDATE: Man released without charge after 'violent threats' at Harrogate doctor's surgery

A man who reportedly made "violent threats" to a member of staff at a doctor's surgery on King's Road has been released without charge.

Officers were called to the doctor's surgery on Kings Road at around 2.15pm and began trying to trace a man in connection to the incident.

During the search, investigations led officers to an address on Lancaster Park Road later that afternoon.

However, at around 4.50pm that day, officers returned to King's Road and arrested a man in his 30's on suspicion of threatening behaviour,

The man was later released without charge following enquiries.

Police say they are not looking for anyone else in connection with the incident.
