UPDATE: Drug-driver bailed after three-car Wetherby Road crash

A driver involved in the three-car crash on Wetherby Road earlier today has been bailed after testing positive for drugs.

Police were called to Wetherby Road at the Willaston Crescent junction in Harrogate at around 3pm on Monday (October 19) to deal with a three car collision.

David Minto, Traffic Constable and Family Liaison Officer at North Yorkshire Police, later tweeted that one of the drivers involved had tested positive for the drugs.

Police revealed that nobody had been injured in the collision and that the driver had been bailed pending blood results.
