POLICE are appealing for information after a teenager was robbed in Harrogate.
The 16-year-old was allegedly assaulted in an alleyway off Stonefall Avenue on Sunday, August 14, at 3.25pm.
The offenders took his red and black Blackberry Curve smartphone from his pocket, before making off in the direction of Prospect Road.
Officers arrested three youths aged 15, 16 and 17, who have been released on police bail while inquiries continue.
But anyone who witnessed the robbery, or has any information about it, is asked to get in touch.
Det Con Paul Groves, of Harrogate CID, said: “Fortunately, the victim was unhurt, but this was an unpleasant experience for him and he was left shaken up.
“I am appealing for anyone who can assist us with our enquiries to contact the police or Crimestoppers as soon as possible.”
