Prescription drugs stolen at knife point

A knife wielding robber stole a bag of prescription drugs from a man in Starbeck.

The man, who was wearing a balaclava, produced a Swiss Army Knife and grabbed a bag of prescription drugs from the victims pocket at the rear of Miller’s Cafe, just off the High Street in Starbeck on Monday (November 18) at 1.30pm.

He then ran off towards Starbeck Park.

The man is described as white, aged 30 -35-years-old, around 5ft 6 – 5ft 8in tall with a slim build, a slim face and a sweaty complexion. He was wearing a black balaclava, a black jacket, jeans and green Nike trainers.

Officers are appealing to anyone who witnessed the incident or knows anyone matching the description of the offender to contact them with information.
