Police in Harrogate have released CCTV footage of two men they would to trace after the theft of motor oil in the town.

The theft happened at the Woodlands Stop & Shop petrol station on Wetherby Road, at 1.20pm on Tuesday, May 22.

Police believe the two men took motor oil from the shelf and left without paying for it.

PC Emma Hayes, of Harrogate Safer Neighbourhood Team, said: “If you recognise either of the men in the images please contact the police or Crimestoppers straight away.

“I am also asking the men themselves to come forward in case there has been a misunderstanding.”
