Antique jewellery and ornaments were stolen when burlgars raided a home on Oakdale, Harrogate.

Thieves broke into the house while the occupants were out and stole four Royal Doulton figurines of war evacuees and antique jewellery during the early hours of Saturday January 4.

Officers are appealing to anyone who saw any suspicious people or vehicles in the area around the time of the incident to get in touch.

They would also like to hear from anyone who has been offered any of the stolen property. Some distinctive items were stolen in the burglary including four Royal Doulton figurines of war evacuees.

Anyone who can help officers with their enquiries is urged to contact North Yorkshire Police on 101 - select option 2 - and ask for Detective Constable Fiona Saunderson or Harrogate CID.
