A motorcyclist has been left seriously injured after a crash near Knaresborough.
The motorcyclist, a 35-year-old man from York, suffered injuries to his ribs, pelvis, and arm in the smash at the Station Road junction at Goldsborough at around 6am on Wednesday, February 19.
He sustained his injuries while travelling towards Knaresborough on his orange motorbike when he hit a white Vauxhall Corsa.
The 50-year-old local woman who was driving the car was badly shaken by the incident but was otherwise unharmed.
His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening, but he was taken to Leeds General Infirmary.
Officers are appealing for any witnesses who saw the collision or either vehicle prior to the incident to come forward.
