Harrogate police are appealing for the public’s help as they search for a missing woman.

Leanna Jane Robson, aged 33, of Strawberry Dale, has not been seen since Thursday 7 April 2011.

She was reported missing by her mother and her family and the police are becoming increasingly concerned for her welfare.

The last sighting of Leanna was outside Harrogate District Hospital when she was spoken to by a neighbour.

She is described as white, around 5ft 3in tall, with a slim build, blue eyes and shoulder-length dark brown hair, which she often wears in a ponytail.

Leanna, also has a birth mark on the top of her right thigh and a tattoo around her belly button.

Police are appealing for anyone who knows where Leanna is or has seen her to get in touch.

PC Casey Blair, of Harrogate police, said: “The police and Leanna’s family are obviously concerned for her welfare due to the fact she has not been seen for more than a week.

“She is vulnerable and is known to suffer from depression and we need to know where she is and that she is safe and well.

“I am appealing for anyone who can either help us identify where Leanna is or has seen her since she was reported missing to come forward.

“I would also appeal directly to Leanna to get in touch with the police or her family to let us know that she is ok.”

Anyone who has seen Leanna, or knows where she might be is urged to contact Harrogate police on 0845 6060247, quoting reference number, 12110060894.
