Four people were arrested in the Harrogate District for drug offences during a police crackdown yesterday.
Two men in their thirties were arrested after police found £3,000 worth of Class A drugs and a knife in a car on Thursday June 4.
The pair were driving a silver BMW at speed on the A661 between Spofforth and Wetherby when they were stopped by police.
Two search warrants were also carried out at addresses in Harrogate and police made two further arrests for drug offences.
The crackdown was part of North Yorkshire Police’s ongoing Operation Hawk which aims to combat travelling criminals.
Chief Constable, Dave Jones joined officers on patrol and arrested a wanted man in Hartlepool.
