Police in Harrogate and Nidderdale are appealing for information about the following crimes;
l A blue ladies Raleigh mountain bike, with fitted basket, was stolen from Dragon Parade on May 18 between 9pm and 9.30pm.
l A handbag was stolen from a parked car on Starbeck High Street between 4pm and 6.30pm on May 18. The car was parked near the Stonefall Avenue junction.
l Two mountain bikes were stolen from a garage on Stonefall Avenue. The bikes, a black Carrera Vengeance and a black Trax dual suspension with multi-coloured reflectors, were stolen between May 19 and 20.
l A car windscreen was smashed overnight between May 21 and 22 while parked on upper Station Parade.
l Burglars entered a house on Crimple Meadows overnight between May 21 and 22, stealing the family car. Two men were later arrested in Wetherby and the car was recovered.
l A commercial property on Otley Road, Beckwithshaw was broken into overnight between May 24 and 25. Damage was caused but no property was taken.
l A horse rider was verbally abused by a car driver in Pateley Bridge after asking him to slow down. The woman, riding a horse, had gestured to the driver of a small dark saloon or hatchback car to slow down at 11.25am on Thursday, May 15. Instead, say police, he stopped his vehicle before verbally abusing the rider. The incident happened on the B6265.
l Police are urging residents not to leave valuables in cars or in open view. They have also reminded residents to check that all windows and doors are closed and locked before walking away from a vehicle.
