Police are appealing for information about the following crimes which have been reported in Harrogate, Knaresborough, and Pateley Bridge in recent days;
l A garage was broken into on Poplar Grove between April 27 and 29 and a brown coloured Specialized Big Hit mountain bike was stolen.
l Burglars struck at the Scriven Park Pre-School on Halfpenny Lane in Knaresborough, stealing two red tricycles from a shed. Police believe the thefts occurred between April 4 and 15 and say the tricycles are quite distinctive as one has two seats and the other has three seats.
l A garage on Oak Terrace was forced open between May 4 and 5 and a grey men’s Specialised road bike and a grey Boardman ladies road bike, cycle helmet and alcohol were stolen.
l A car parked on Kent Road between May 1 and 5 was damaged by being scratched.
l A car parked overnight on Grove Road had its wing mirrors vandalised between May 4 and 5.
l Thieves smashed the window of a van parked on Plantation Road to steal tools left inside. They struck between 3.15pm and 4.15pm on May 3.
l The same afternoon in Beckwithshaw a van was broken into by forcing a door. Tools were stolen. Both occurred at local sports grounds.
l A shop premises in The Ginnel in the town centre had a glass door panel smashed overnight between May 2 and 3.
l Between 5.25am and 5.35am on May 5 a shop premises on Montpellier Street has its glazed front door damaged.
l Between April 15 and May 2 a green plastic Novacraft Prospector canoe was stolen from the Outdoor Centre at Bewerley near Pateley Bridge.
