Crime File with Harrogate police


Police in Harrogate are appealing for information and witnesses to the following crimes which have been reported in the town in recent days:

A car’s window was smashed sometime between 4.30pm on December 29 and 8.30am the following day, while parked on Roseville Road.

Number plates were stolen from a vehicle parked in the Victoria multi-storey car park between 1pm and 3pm on December 30.

A car parked on York Road had its rear windows smashed between 1.30pm and 4.30pm on December 30.

A vehicle parked on King Edward’s Drive had its window broken between 6pm on December 30 and 11.30am the following day.

A wiper blade was taken from a vehicle parked on Durham Way between 1am and 10am on January 1.

A red Aprilia moped was stolen from Coppice View between 3am and midday on January 1.

A car parked on Slingsby Crescent was vandalised between 7pm and 7.30pm on January 5.

Burglars struck at a house on Bilton Grove Avenue between 4pm and 4.20pm on December 30, stealing a handbag, jewellery, and two Hewlett Packard laptops.

A home on Knox Road was targeted by burglars who struck between 5.30pm and 8.40pm on January 1, stealing a mobile phone and Ipod.

Three local males were later arrested and are currently on bail in relation to this incident.

A burglary was also reported on Oakdale between 1am and 6am on January 4.

Over the Christmas period a wooden bench was stolen from the garden of a property on Albany Road.
