Police in Harrogate are appealing for information about the following incidents which have been reported in the past week;

l Burglars struck in Norwood last Thursday, taking jewellery and electronics. Among the items stolen were a silver iPad, a black iPod, a digital camera, a Tag Heuer Carrera watch, a Tag Heuer Monaco watch, a Vivienne Westwood pearl choker as well as platinum and white gold eternity rings, gold, sapphire and diamond rings. A single length of pearls was also stolen, along with a gold ring with an amethyst surrounded by pearls, a gold ring with an aqua marine stone and a charm bracelet. The burglars struck between 10.15am and 16.45 last Thursday, March 28.

l Mountain bikes were stolen from a shed which was broken into on College Road in Harrogate. The lock was forced and a brown ladies mountain bike, along with a white mans giant rove mountain bike were stolen overnight last Wednesday between 10.30pm and 7.30am.

l More mountain bikes were stolen, this time from an un-secured garage on Boggs Lane in Harrogate. The thieves struck between 2pm and 6.30pm on Saturday, stealing a black and white Raleigh mountain bike 1830 with green and black stripes on its frame. This distinctive bike also has the words ‘monster’ and ‘maxis’ on its frame.

l The windows of a car parked on Hill Bank View were smashed overnight last Wednesday, between 10pm and 6.30am.

l Anyone with information about any of the above incidents is asked to call North Yorkshire Police on 101 and asking to speak to the force control room. Information can also be given anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
