Police are appealing for witnesses or information about the following crimes which were reported in the town in the past week;
l Burglars stole a bottle of brandy after breaking into a house on Ripon Road in Killinghall. They forced their way in some time between 4pm last Tuesday and 8.30am the following morning.
l A specialised mountain bike was stolen from an unsecured shed on Crab Lane. The red and white bike, 24 speed, was stolen on the afternoon of February 26, between noon and 4pm.
l A storage facility on Boggs Lane was broken into and a TVR engine was stolen some time between 4pm last Tuesday, March 5, and 4pm on Thursday, March 7.
l A lawnmower, Black and Decker Workmate and a workbench was stolen from a unsecured shed on Whinney Lane last weekend. Thieves targeted the shed some time between 4pm on Friday, March 8, and 10am on Sunday, March 10.
l Car tyres were punctured in an act of criminal damage on Coppice Drive between 4pm on February 26 and 1.30pm and February 28.
l Criminal damage was caused to fencing surrounding a council nursery on Harlow Moor Drive between midnight on February 22 and 4pm on Tuesday, March 5.
l A car parked on Stray Road had its tyres punctured between 11am on Monday, March 4, and 2pm the next day.
l Wishing wells in the Valley Gardens were targeted by vandals who damaged roof tiles on two of the follies.
l Cars were found damaged on Robert Street on Sunday. One had a damaged tyre, the other damaged paintwork.
