An eleven-year-old boy appeared in court in Harrogate yesterday accused of threatening a teacher with a knife.
The youngster, who cannot be named for legal reasons, was charged with threatening a teacher at King James’s School with a folding knife on Friday, March 6.
He appeared before Magistrates at a Youth Court hearing in Harrogate on the morning of March 18.
The case has been adjourned until April 29 while the Youth Justice Service prepares reports.
As part of his bail conditions, he is not allowed to contact the teacher.
