£1000 worth of booze stolen

A group of men stole 38 bottles of spirits from ASDA in Harrogate.

Police have released CCTV of the group of men who worked together to steal a total of 38 bottles of brandy, cognac and Jack Daniels, from the store. The value of the spirits is around £1,000.

The spirits were stolen from the ASDA store, Bower Road, on Wednesday 7 August 2013.

PC Andy Hanson, of Harrogate Safer Neighbourhood Team, said: “If you are one of the men caught on camera and you were not involved in the theft, please come forward and contact the police immediately, so that I can eliminate you from my enquiries.

“I am also keen to speak to anyone who recognises any of the men and ask that they get in touch as soon as possible.”
