Fire crews attended reports of a chemical spill at a brewery in Tadcaster.

North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue teams were called to the scene of the small spill at 12pm on Friday, October 23.

Two people were treated at the scene for minor symptoms following the leak, after crews wearing breathing gear inspected the area.

A statement from the fire service read: "Fire control received a report of a small chemical leak at a brewery in Tadcaster, fire engines were sent from Tadcaster, Acomb and York along with specialist vehicles from Tadcaster and Malton."
