Call for cash in final push to repair grave memorials
A final restoration programme of damaged memorials is the ambitious plan of the Friends of Pateley Bridge Cemetery and St Mary's Churchyard.
The group, set up in 2004 to repair the graveyard tributes, is calling for donations.
A spokesman said: “The aim was to restore as many of the graves as possible and to bring the cemetery and churchyard back to a decent state.

Hide Ad“In ten years they have raised funds for the reinstatement of 311 memorials and everyone says how different the cemetery looks after all that has been done.”
