Ripon Racecourse hosts new monthly business breakfast

THE Federation of Small Businesses is organising a Big Breakfast Business Show at Ripon Racecourse for members on Tuesday.

The event, which runs from 7.30am to 10.30am, will give local businesses the opportunity to showcase their products or services and is part of the FSB’s Keep Trade Local campaign.

David Beswick, who is responsible for FSB membership in North Yorkshire, said: “Some 2000 local shops are closing every year and the FSB is working hard to protect small businesses from unfair planning laws, draconian parking restrictions in town centres and the breakdown of local economies.

“We started these breakfast networking events earlier this year and attendances are growing fast so we decided to step up a gear and put on a bigger event. Attendance and breakfast are free and there will be speed networking opportunities, a fashion show and beauty advice – all supplied by members.”

Businesses can also purchase a display area at the event for 20. For further information contact David Beswick on 07740 821966.

The Big Breakfast Business Show will be a monthly members’ event at Ripon racecourse on the second Tuesday in the month.
