So, how was it for you? Was your Christmas joyous and restful, or hectic and cramped?

If the latter, and you emerged from the festive season vowing to move house before you next feed 12 people on Christmas Day, you’re certainly not alone.

Because if there’s one time of year when we all feel we could do with more room(s), it’s Christmas, when family and friends pack themselves into spaces not designed for them. Outstretched legs become trip-hazards, coats mount up on banisters and all meals are preceded by a hunt for spare chairs.

What we could all do with is a house with space for entertaining: a good-sized kitchen with separate lounge and dining room; guest bedrooms with extra bathrooms. And parking!
