One of Harrogate’s top hotels is turning its staff into stars by lining its corridors with their portraits.
All 70 employees at the Cedar Court Hotel have had their photo taken in off-duty settings – showing their pastimes and personalities –by Harrogate photographer Tim Hardy.
General manager Simon Cotton, whose idea it was, said: “Our hotel is very much about the personalities who work here, and this was a great way of getting that over.
“The pictures act as great conversation-starters for both staff and customers, and I also wanted to show off some of the attractions around here, so there are pictures taken at the Turkish Baths and in the Valley Gardens.
“I’m very proud of the team here, and having their pictures on the wall makes them proud too.
“We’re very excited about what the guests’ reactions will be once the photos go up on the walls.”
All 70 images will be on display at a free exhibition at the hotel on Wednesday, October 23, from 5.30 to 7.30pm. Entry is free of charge and there will be a free glass of prosecco for the first 30 guests through the door.
