Destination Harrogate is welcoming entries for Harrogate’s Hospitality & Tourism awards for 2014.

The sixth edition of the awards aim to celebrate the best of the best amongst the people and businesses who represent the town’s leading industry in the form of Business and Leisure Tourism.

If you believe someone deserves special recognition for their work in any of the categories listed below, vote for them to win an award.

A Destination Harrogate statement read: “We want to celebrate and reward those individuals who truly represent Harrogate as one of the country’s best destinations for both business and leisure tourism.

“Harrogate is a successful, vibrant, and desirable location in which to both live and work, and much of it’s success is due to the millions of pounds generated annually into the town’s economy through tourism.

“To do this however, we have to have the very best people providing their very best day in day out and we have therefore decided to reward and congratulate these people through these awards.”

The Harrogate Ambassador award is sponsored by Harrogate Chamber of Trade and Commerce.

Chamber president Sandra Doherty said: “We are proud and delighted to sponsor this most coveted award.

“Each year we help select the person who has added their own special magic to promoting the district, someone who works tirelessly and usually works beyond their own job – a person who we can say typifies the Harrogate brand”.
