Growing holiday company opens new coastal office

A buoyant holiday cottage lettings market has led to Yorkshire Coastal Cottages opening an office in Whitby.

The company will retain its head office at Wetherby, said partner Susan Goss-Clements, who added: “We’ve had a very busy start to our business during our first year. Despite the growth of internet-based enquiries, we wanted to have a presence on the coast and Whitby is at the heart of our operation as we have cottages from Saltburn-by-the-Sea in the north down to Bridlington in the south.”

Yorkshire Coastal Cottages was launched earlier this year by chartered surveyor David Copley, who co-founded Harrogate estate agents Beadnall Copley, marketing expert Susan Goss-Clements and sales specialist Robert Clements.

Susan added: “We’re delighted to be expanding. Yorkshire has a great deal to offer visitors and the growth of ‘staycations’ has helped increase demand, particularly for the top end of the market which is where we specialise.”
