The hunt for the district’s best businesses and businesspeople has begun.
The first entries to the 10th Harrogate Advertiser Series Business Awards already flying in.
The awards, which are sponsored by Harrogate and Pateley Bridge estate agent Verity Frearson for the third year running, are open to businesses trading in the circulation area of the Harrogate Advertiser, Knaresborough Post, Wetherby News, Nidderdale Herald and Ripon Gazette .
The awards dinner will be held at the Majestic Hotel on Thursday, April 30.
Jean MacQuarrie, editor of the Harrogate Advertiser Series, said: “In this tenth anniversary year, we are going back to our roots – to the Majestic Hotel in Harrogate, where it all began.
“This is because we feel a change of venue always keeps an event fresh – and because we are keen to support as many local businesses as possible.”
Individual category sponsors include Leeds Bradford Airport, the Yorkshire Agricultural Society, Harrogate Chamber of Commerce, Harrogate Borough Council, Covance, Berwins Solicitors, Si Recruitment, McCormicks Solicitors, Saffery Champness and Cicada Communications.
The champagne reception on the night will be sponsored by CNG Ltd.

Entry is free, and businesses may enter as many categories as they wish.
The closing date for entries is noon on Monday, March 16.
