Coffee expert’s new venture

The former head of coffee at Taylor’s of Harrogate has launched a new consultancy at Pannal Business Park.

Coffee expert Mike Riley has taken a 350ft sq office within the former Dunlopillo headquarters as the base for his new business, the Kipanga Coffee Consultancy.

From there, Mr Riley, who has been in the coffee business for 25 years, will import coffee beans from around the world and then sell them on to more than 150 small roasters within the United Kingdom.

His new office has already been kitted out with a top-of-the-range coffee roaster and coffee making machine, as well as a sampling facility.

Another new tenant within the former Dunlopillo office block is digital agency, Adigi, which has just moved into a 560ft sq unit.

Nick Prescott from commercial property agents Gent Visick said: “We are delighted to be able to accommodate both Mike and the Adigi team here at Pannal Business Park.

“The park offers flexible accommodation and is home to a growing number of diverse businesses.”
