Brewers at Knaresborough’s Blind Jack’s pub have triumphed in the York beer festival.

The brewery won Best Strong Beer category with their American Milk Stout, before taking the festival’s overall prize. Owner Paul Holden-Ridgeway said they were thrilled with the win at their first beer festival. He said: “We were competing agains the best breweries in the region, and we are blown away by it.”
