Poundworld have confirmed they will be opening a new store in the Victora Centre in early October.
The budget store have taken on three empty units in the Victoria Centre which are currently being refurbished.
The shop will be Harrogate’s only pound shop.
Chris Edwards Junior, trading director at Poundworld said he was looking forward to welcoming savvy Harrogate shoppers into the store.
He said: “We’re really delighted to be opening a brand new store at Harrogate’s Victoria Centre.
“With the cost of living at an all time high, we hope that our new store will be able to provide Harrogate residents with a value alternative to other high street retailers.
“Our vast range includes well known brands such as Heinz, Mr Muscle, Cadbury’s and Johnson’s as well as thousands of value products, from household essentials to groceries, pet care and pocket money toys.
He added: “We look forward to welcoming customers through our doors and we hope our store at the Victoria Centre will be popular with savvy shoppers in Harrogate.”
David Horth, Victoria Shopping Centre Manager said: “We are currently in the process of renovating three former units on the ground floor of the centre in preparation for the arrival of Poundworld.”
“Hoardings have been in place since July 18 to allow for work to take place. This is an exciting time for the Victoria Centre.”
