Beetle Drive: on Saturday, June 8, 6.30pm at Bishop Thornton CE School. All proceeds to go to the school to help with providing a music system, IT visualise, and EYFS equipment.

School News: Bishop Thornton CE Primary School will be joined by children from Birstwith Primary School for a visit to Nell Bank near Ilkley. This was a great success a couple of years ago when the children took part in a whole range of open air activities. Class 1 from Bishop Thornton Primary School have designed and planned healthy snacks for their superheroes and they were joined by parents and grandparents to share these snacks. St Joseph’s RC School juniors enjoyed their trip to Hackfall Woods where they learned how to identify various trees and plants. There was also time to learn a bit about identifying minbeasts too. Many thanks goes to the Woodland Trust who supported this trip. Year 6 children will having a taster day on June 26 at St John Fisher High School in Harrogate to meet other children who be joining the school in September.
