The Yorkshire Air Ambulance was called to a dramatic rescue this bank holiday weekend when a young boy was injured at a Nidderdale beauty spot.
The helicopter was called to Brimham Rocks at around 3.15pm on Sunday, May 5 to help a 12 year old boy.
The young boy had fallen and hurt himself at the popular attraction.
A spokesman for the Yorkshire Ambulance Service confirmed they had sent an emergency response vehicle to the site as well as a road ambulance, and had called for back up from the air ambulance.
The young boy was air lifted to Harrogate District Hospital with leg injuries.
