Knaresborough Rotary Club is to mark its 50th anniverary and the Diamond Jubilee with the unveiling of a Wishing Well on the waterside, on Saturday, October 27.

The construction costs have been supported by Knaresborough Town Council, the George A Moore Foundation and the Rotary Club of Knaresborough.

The official opening on Saturday, October 27 at 9am and will be attended by the Town Mayor Coun John Batt, Knaresborough MP Andrew Jones and George Moore. A number of local children will roll the first coins.
