Tourism boost for October

A MAJOR conference will come to Harrogate this October - bringing more than £500,000 for the district’s economy.

The British Oncology Pharmacy Association (BOPA) and UK Oncology Nursing Society (UKONS) will hold the four-day conference at the Harrogate International Centre for the first time.

Speaking on behalf of the two groups, Kirsten Wicke said: “Harrogate is not just a venue it’s a complete delegate experience.

“It’s a lovely town and great venue to boot.”
