A new music night in Harrogate is to be launched at Harrogate Theatre on a Saturday night for rock fans into the spirit of The Who and the Stone Roses.

Presented by She Bangs The Drums, Later at the Circle Bar with The Four 45s promises a new approach for local fans of live music and classic British guitar bands.

To be held on Saturday, December 29 at 9pm, demand is set to be high for the evening which aims to have a Brighton Beach vibe on the decks and swirling 60s visuals – all on a prime-time Saturday night slot.

There will be a strictly limited number of tickets on sale only at Harrgate Theatre box office for the show which stars The Four 45s.

A classic rock n roll band who stand in a lineage stretching from The Who and The Rolling Stones to The Smiths and the Stone Roses, this four-piece outfit have already won support slots with The Bluetones and recorded in the same studio as the Kaiser Chiefs.

The band consists of Rufus Beckett (vocals and bass) Nick McTague (drums and backing vocals), Nick Turner (lead guitar and backing vocals) and Joe Flanagan (lead vocals and rhythm guitar).

Adding to this special night will be VJ Quadrod of SXSW Festival will be mixing pop art visuals live with famous tracks by the likes of The Beatles, The Kinks, Pink Floyd, The Jam, The Clash, The La’s, Blur, Oasis, Pulp, Arctic Monkeys, Kaiser Chiefs, The Horrors and many more.

A support act will also be announced.
