Lucy Spraggan, The Viper Rooms, Harrogate.

After a false start, breaking a guitar string half way through the first number, a quick dash to the dressing room and all was well, as Lucy Spraggen enthralled a capacity crowd at that start of this season’s X Factor performances in Harrogate’s Viper Rooms.

Whirling through five numbers, including the already legendary song Beer Fear, Lucy showed a mature confidence on stage, gained from her early days performing in bars and clubs across the country along with all the charm that shone through while she was performing on X Factor.

Possibly the fastest performance or the shortest songs ever performed, but all too soon it was thank you very much and Lucy was gone, though I suspect it will not be long before we see Lucy back on stage and for much longer.
