Music Hall Ball to help Royal Hall restoration
THERE'S only a matter of hours left to buy tickets for the Music Hall Ball.
The HEARTS Community Festival’s first fundraising event in 2010 takes place at The Majestic Hotel in Harrogate tonight, Friday, March 19 with the empahsis on fundraising and fun.
HEARTS Festival organiser Kelly Gavaghan said: “We wanted to set the mood for HEARTS with our vibrant, colourful, fun, energetic and traditional, British Music Hall-style show that has been beautifully choreographed by James White, artistic director of White Diamond Entertainment.”
Simon Shaw, Knaresborough’s town crier and entertainer has also risen to the occasion – on his trademark stilts, of course – and is delighted to be helping HEARTS to raise funds.
He says: “I just love the fact that the money raised is being used to help promote arts in Harrogate as well as to raise money for the stunning Royal Hall restoration project.”
Tickets are 38 for The Music Hall Ball which includes a champagne reception, three course meal and a full Music Hall-style show.
There is dancing until midnight.
