Joanna Trollope for Harrogate Theatre
BESTSELLING novelist Joanna Trollope is to stop off in Harrogate as part of a very limited national tour to discuss her life, the inspiration behind her books and her new bestseller.
Harrogate Theatre is delighted to announce a rare opportunity to spend an evening in the company of this highly-acclaimed best-selling author of contemporary novels and historical fiction.
On Monday, June 7 as part of a very limited national tour comprised of only three dates in total, Joanna will be chatting about her career to date, the inspiration behind her books and in particular, her latest bestseller The Other Family which went straight to the number one slot having already received high critical acclaim.

Joanna will be accompanied on stage by the celebrated musician and performer Jason Kouchak whose regular guest appearances with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, Scottish Chamber Orchestra and with Julian Lloyd-Webber have earned him much critical acclaim worldwide. He will be performing three songs that are featured in her latest novel.
Joanna Trollope has been writing for over 30 years and is best known for her enormously successful contemporary works of fictions, several of which have gone on to be televised.
She has written in total 15 contemporary novels, including the number one bestseller The Rector's Wife, Next Of Kin and Friday Nights among many others. Truly a household name, her novels have sold over 6 million copies in paperback in the UK alone.
In addition Joanna has also written a number of historical novels now published under the name of Caroline Harvey which have almost all reached number one in the bestseller lists including a study of women in the British Empire called Britannia's Daughters.
Joanna Trollope was born in Gloucestershire and now lives in London. She was appointed an OBE in the 1996 Queen's Birthday Honours List for services to literature
